3. Jesse Rodriguez (23-0, 16 KOs)
Jesse “Bam” Rodríguez was born on January 20th 2000, in San Antonio, Texas. He holds both the WBC and The Ring super flyweight titles, marking his prominence in the sport.
He started his career in Mexico back in March of 2017 with a win over Mauricio Cruz and has fought in multiple divisions. His first world title opportunity was in 2022 as he defeated Carlos Cuadras to win the WBC super flyweight title. He followed that win by stopping Srisaket Sor Rungvisai and beating Israel Gonzalez by decision in the same year.
In 2023 Rodriguez went on to become the WBO flyweight champion by defeating Cristian Gonzalez in his hometown of San Antonio and then unifying the WBO and IBF titles with a stoppage win over Sunny Edwards. Last year, Rodriguez scored a knockout win over Juan Francisco Estrada to win back the WBC super flyweight title and then beat Pedro Guevara in Philadelphia in November 2024.
On July 19th 2025, Rodriguez stopped Phumelela Cafu in the 10th round to unify the WBC and WBO super flyweight titles, and followed that with a stoppage of Fernando “Puma” Martinez months later. He is scheduled to face Antonio Vargas on June 13th and will be looking to win titles in the bantamweight division, then seek a fight with Naoya Inoue in the future.
