15. O’Shaquie Foster (25-3, 12 KOs)
O’Shaquie Foster was born on September 17th 1993 in Orange, Texas. He started competing in the amateur ranks at the age of 12, winning tournaments and eventually becoming an alternate on the US Olympic Team. He fought over 100 times in the amateurs before turning pro in 2012.
In his first three years as a pro Foster went 8-1 with five of those wins by knockout. He went on to get two knockout victories in 2016 before losing by split decision to Rolando Chinea in July of that year. He recovered from that loss by stopping Andrew Goodrich in 2017 which started a winning streak that would last a few years.
Foster became a contender in the super featherweight division in 2018 with a win over Jon Fernandez. In 2019, he defeated Alberto Mercado and followed that up with a stoppage victory against Miguel Roman in 2020. His next bout was in March of 2022, defeating Muhammad Yaqubov by unanimous decision. In February 2023, Foster took on Rey Vargas for the WBC super featherweight title. After twelve rounds, Foster got the unanimous decision victory and was crowned WBC champion.
In his first defense of the title, Foster stopped Eduardo Hernandez in the twelfth round on October 28th, 2023. He went on to defeat Abraham Nova in February 2024 before facing Robson Conceicao five months later. In that bout, Foster lost the WBC title by split decision. There was an immediate rematch, and Foster got the title back with a split decision victory.
After defeating Conceicao in the rematch, Foster waited a year for his next bout which was against former two division champion Stephen Fulton. Foster won that bout by unanimous decision, then took on Raymond Ford on May 30th 2026. Foster defended the WBC super featherweight title in that bout, winning by unanimous decision to keep his spot in the rankings at 130 pounds. Now he hopes to have a bout with the unified champion Emanuel Navarrete by the end of the year.
