10. Rafael Espinoza (28-0, 24 KOs)
Rafael Espinoza was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico on April 21st 1994.
Espinoza turned pro in 2013 in Zapopan, Mexico against Victor Valadez. In the third round of that fight he scored a technical knockout victory. He fought a majority of his fights in his home country, getting wins over the course of ten years before getting a world title shot. On December 9th 2023, he defeated Robiesy Ramirez to become the WBO featherweight champion in a bout that was a strong candidate for Fight of the Year.
After one defense of that title in Las Vegas against Sergio Chirino, Espinoza had a rematch against Ramirez on December 7th 2024 in Phoenix. In that bout, Espinoza stopped Ramirez in the sixth round. On May 4th 2025 Ramirez stopped Edward Vazquez in Las Vegas and then followed that up with a victory over Arnold Khegai in Mexico six months later. At this moment Espinoza is recognized as the best fighter in the featherweight division and will aim to secure fights with the other world champions.
