12. Oscar Collazo (13-0, 10 KOs)
Oscar Collazo was born in Newark, New Jersey on January 15th, 1997. He won five national titles as an amateur and also captured a bronze medal in the Pan American Championships in 2017 and the gold medal at the Pan American Games in 2019.
Collazo started his pro career at light flyweight in San Juan, Puerto Rico getting a stoppage win over Vicente Castro. After three bouts in Puerto Rico, Collazo went down to mini flyweight and became a contender in the division in his fourth pro fight. By the year 2023, Collazo fought for and won the WBO mini flyweight title with a stoppage victory over Melvin Jerusalem.
Following his win over Jerusalem, Collazo defended the WBO title against Garen Diagan, Reyneris Gutierrez, and Gerardo Zapata before getting a shot to unify the division on November 16th 2024 against Thammanoon Niyomtrong. In that bout, Collazo scored three knockdowns en route to a TKO victory to become the WBO, WBA, and Ring Magazine mini flyweight champion. In 2025, he knocked out Edwin Cano and Jayson Vayson while defending the titles.
Despite having 13 pro fights Collazo has shown to be one of the most talented fighters in the sport at this time, and is viewed as the top fighter in his division. He is scheduled to make another defense of the unified titles against Jesus Haro in California on March 14th.
