Hamzah Sheeraz and Josh Kelly added to Joshua-Prenga card July 25th

Two world champions will defend their titles in Saudi Arabia on July 25th as WBO super middleweight champion Hamzah Sheeraz and IBF super welterweight champion Josh Kelly were added to the fight card headlined by Anthony Joshua versu Kristian Prenga. This event is part of Jeddah Season in association with Riyadh Season, Matchroom Boxing, SELA and Goldstar.

Sheeraz (23-0-1, 19 KOs) makes his first defense of the WBO super middleweight title against Simon Zachenhuber (29-1, 18 KOs) after winning the title in Giza by knocking out Alan Begic in two rounds. Sheeraz had knocked out former world title contender Edgar Berlanga last year in his first bout at super middleweight. Zachenhuber is currently ranked 7th in the WBO rankings and is coming off of a stoppage win over Arman Ajrulai in June.

Kelly (18-1-1, 9 KOs) defeated Bakhram Murtazaliev in January to become the IBF super welterweight champion, and his first defense will be against undefeated contender Caoimhin Agyarko (18-0, 7 KOs). Agyarko is ranked 4th in the IBF rankings and was scheduled to face Brandon Adams in Las Vegas in April but it was canceled. For Kelly, this is his first bout outside of the UK since 2019.

These fights were announced by Turki Alalshikh along with ten more bouts to complete the undercard of this event that will be in Jeddah. This will be streamed worldwide on DAZN.
