4. Devin Haney (33-0, 15 KOs)
Devin Haney originally hails from San Francisco, California and was born on November 17th, 1998. He started boxing at 7 years old, and had an impressive amateur career before turning pro in 2015. Haney had a total of nine fights in the following year, and was 18-0 before fighting Mason Menard on May 11th, 2018. He won a number of regional titles at lightweight before fighting for the WBC interim title against Zaur Abdullaev in 2019.
He defeated Abdullaev by 4th round TKO to win the interim title, and then was elevated to full champion later in the year. He defeated Yuriorkis Gamboa, Jojo Diaz, and Jorge Linares defending that WBC title. On June 5th 2022, he fought George Kambosos Jr. for the undisputed lightweight championship. Haney won by unanimous decision to become the youngest undisputed champion at lightweight since Pernell Whitaker. Months later, Haney beat Kambosos again in the rematch.
Following his two wins over Kambosos, Haney took on Vasyl Lomachenko in May of 2023. It ended up being a highly contested encounter with Haney getting a unanimous decision. In November, he vacated all but the WBC title and moved up to challenge Regis Prograis for his super lightweight title. Haney dominated that bout and swept the scorecards to become a two division champion.
In 2024, Haney fought Ryan Garcia who was his rival in the amateur ranks. Haney was knocked down three times in the fight and lost the bout by decision. Months later, it was determined that Garcia tested positive for a banned substance and the fight result was changed to a no contest. Haney did not return to the ring until May 2nd 2025, fighting Jose Carlos Ramirez. He won that bout by decision.
On November 22nd 2025, Haney won the WBO welterweight title with a decision victory over Brian Norman Jr. to become a world champion in a third weight class. He is now seeking a bout in the welterweight division to solidify his status among the top at 147.
