Scarboro wants to give the fans a show September 5th on ProBox
Undefeated super featherweight Francois Scarboro Jr. has a strong following in the Washington DC area, as many of his fans attend his bouts and get merchandise in support. On September 5th, “The Franchise” has his next bout at the CareFirst Arena in Washington DC taking on Kevin Piedrahita live on ProBox TV. Scarboro signed a network deal with ProBox and scored a stoppage win over Victor Lopez in April.
“I have another chance to show the world what I’m about,” Scarboro said. “All I ever wanted was another opportunity to give the fans their money’s worth.”
The bout against Piedrahita marks Scarboro’s 5th bout in a 16 month period which shows that he likes to be fighting as often as possible.
“This is something that I love to do. I put by heart and soul into this. Everyone knows that when you see ‘The Franchise’ you’re going to see the best of me and nothing less.”

Scarboro has intentions of being the standout fighter on the card at CareFirst Arena and showing fight fans that he is a force in the super featherweight division.
“I want to steal the show on September 5th. The last time I was able to make an impression on a lot of people so I want to duplicate that in this fight.”
Plans are in place to get Scarboro up the rankings at super featherweight, and after a few fights we may see Scarboro contend for a world title.
“That is number 1 on my list, to fight for a world title,” he said. “I want to get a world title and then I want to unify.”
Those are big plans, but Scarboro is confident that it will happen.
“I can’t be denied.”
