Fighting in Photos – Palacios beats Segawa for NABF title

HANOVER – Rene Palacios was able to stay unbeaten as he defeated Sulaiman Segawa by split decision and win the vacant NABF featherweight title. Segawa seemed to land the more telling shots over the course of the fight, but Palacios got two of the judges to score the fight in his favor.

Judge Brent Colfesh scored the bout 97-93 in favor of Palacios, Bernard Bruni scored it 96-94 for Segawa, and judge Nicholas Chimienti scored it 99-91 to Palacios.
