Mayweather-Pacquaio rematch set for September 19th in Las Vegas
Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao have agreed to have a rematch that will take place on September 19th in Las Vegas. The venue will be The Sphere and it will be shown live on Netflix.
Mayweather (50-0, 27 KOs) will be coming out of retirement to face Pacquaio (62-8-3, 39 KOs) over a decade after their bout in the same city that generated millions of dollars in revenue. Their first meeting shattered every standing benchmark, generating a record 4.6 million pay-per-view buys. The event also set a world-record live gate of $72 million at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
This will be the first professional boxing event at the Sphere and EverWonder Studio, Hidden Empire, plus Limitless X Holdings will be the producers of the event. Promotion will be handled by Manny Pacquiao Promotions and Mayweather Promotions in partnership with CSI Sports/FIGHT SPORTS.
“I already fought and beat Manny once,” Mayweather said. “This time will be the same result.”

“Floyd and I gave the world what remains the biggest fight in boxing history,” Pacquiao said. “The fans have waited long enough—they deserve this rematch, and it will be even bigger now that it will be streamed live globally on Netflix.”
“I want Floyd to live with the one loss on his professional record and always remember who gave it to him.”
The Mayweather-Pacquiao rematch marks the latest chapter in Netflix’s record-breaking expansion into live boxing. The Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson event drew 108 million live global viewers, which was the most-streamed sporting event in history. The third bout between Katie Tayloe and Amanda Serrano was a hit as it was the most-watched professional women’s sporting event of 2025 in the US. They also had Canelo Alvarez vs. Terence Crawford and Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua which attracted tens of millions of viewers.
Gabe Spitzer, who is the Vice President of Sports at Netflix, was in the camps of both Maywether and Pacquiao when they had their first encounter. He referenced the work ethic of both fighters and he is excited to get this rematch on Netflix.
“Bringing this rematch to Netflix is a massive ‘full-circle’ moment. We’re thrilled to combine their storied rivalry with the immersive technology of Sphere to deliver a landmark sporting event to our members worldwide.”
Full details regarding the undercard and ticket availability for this event at Sphere in Las Vegas will be announced in the coming weeks.
