Fighting in Photos – Erick Rosado hands Chris Glenn first pro loss
WASHINGTON DC – In the main event of the Davis Boxing Promotions fight card at CareFirst Arena, Erick Rosado won by unanimous decision over Christopher Glenn to become the new National Boxing Association super bantamweight champion. Rosado (16-4, 11 KOs) broke a two fight losing streak while handing Glenn (9-1-1, 3 KOs) his first loss of his pro career.
Both fighters had moments during the bout but it shifted in the sixth round when Rosado was able to catch Glenn with a flurry that put Glenn to the canvas. That 10-8 round in favor of Rosado was the difference in the fight. Two judges scored the bout 74-73 in favor of Rosado with one judge scoring it 77-74 for the Dominican.
