In the main event of Beltway Battles in Washington DC, Cobia Breedy and Sulaiman Segawa went through a few rounds before a clash of heads caused a cut on Segawa’s eye. The ringside doctor ruled that the eye was too damaged for Segawa to continue, and due to the fight being under four rounds it was ruled a no contest.
The fight was fairly even in the first two rounds before it looked like Breedy was changing the tempo of the fight, and when action was picking up the clash of heads happened which halted the bout.
Their records stay intact with Breedy being 15-1 and Segawa being 13-3-1.
